It has been a busy week campaiging. Our campagin has now taken 207,479 steps on our re-election campaign. I always enjoy having conversations with constituents about the issues that are important to them. Last Thursday I had the opportunity to discuss issues directly with voters at the Electionfest event held at the Healthy Planet Arena. The discussion was robust and the event was attended by hundreds of voters. Thanks to the Peterborough Examiner and the Peterborough & Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Central Lakes Association of Realtors, and the Kawartha Home Builders Association for hosting the event.
The Gary Baldwin Re-Election Campaign team will continue to canvas Saturday afternoon (today).
Next Monday October 5 Ashburnham Ward residents will have the opportunity to attend the all-candidates meeting at St. Lukes Church on Armour Rd. Each of the Ashburnham Ward councillor candidates will deliver introductory remarks, discuss three pre-determined questions, and then have an opportunity to answer questions from the audience. The event takes place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
